Joining the Wild Tribe
So! Your thinking of hanging out with me for your Wedding Ceremony! Let's visit the process of what happens when you start to plan your Ceremony. Most of my clients either send me an email or contact me through social media. Once you have sent me a request it will take me around 24-48 hours to respond.
The initial email from your end usually contains info such as;
Where the ceremony is being held and when
Questions include are you available and how much do you charge.
Sometimes they’re personalized with a cute little proposal story or other interesting information, but there’s no pressure!
If I am available, I say so and we will then catch up in real life or on the phone /Facetime/Zoom so we can clarify some facts.
At this point, you may want some time to figure out if I am the right Celebrant for you, don’t worry I will let you know if someone else has inquired about your date. Once you have decided if I am your gal and we have clarified some facts about your special day ill send you an invoice for you to pay your holding deposit for your date. We will then do the boring legal stuff like your Notice of Intention to Marry which lets Births, Deaths and Marriages know you are planning on getting married and then I’ll send out a questionnaire which you and your love fill out in your own time so I can get an awesome picture of your love story to write your custom script.
Ill then go away, grab a glass or wine, light some incense and write! But that’s not all! I’m an open book; I keep supporting my couples who become my friends in many forms. I can advise on vow writing, readings or how to include members of your family we can also have some secret surprises in your Ceremony!
Rehearsals are an option for you if you feel you need a run through and I can travel. Don’t worry, I will let you know of any additional costs way in advance!
The actual day of your ceremony, I will arrive usually 1 hour beforehand and touch base with you separately and answer any last questions before we get the party started! I will also have you sign a document called the ‘Declaration of no legal impediment to marriage’.
Then I will leave you to your devices and see you at the altar!
Now the moment we have all been waiting for, officiating your Ceremony! Once we have done your amazing service, all legal paperwork, documentation, administration and lodgment costs are sorted from my end, including the commemorative marriage certificate.
All that’s left to do is for you to party!
If you have booked me as part of a Celebrant/Photography Package, I'll give you some time to speak to your guests ill grab my cameras and we will take a mini journey to capture some memories for you to treasure for years to come. Once I go home Ill finalise your paperwork. Your official marriage certificate will be sent to you in the mail by registered post. This can take up to a month or longer if there is a backlog from Covid.
Any other questions ask away!
